Most interesting thing I've learned recently:  The famous lion roar heard at the beginning of classic MGM movies was recorded in the old Carnivora building at the Memphis Zoo. The lion's name was Volney.

In 2010, I'm most looking forward to...completing my second half-marathon, the New Orleans jazz festival and any other journeys I come across.

My favorite memory of the last decade is...crying from intense laughter with my brother, sister and parents while driving down the coast of California to see the Big Sur. (2005)
